Pharmaceuticals require special filtration for purity of chemicals and alcohol and other liquid based products to insure that all are pure for a high quality product for the public’s medical needs. Filters need to insure that all pharmaceutical products are free from foreign substances and that the strict legal requirements in terms of purity are met and maintained.
